Recruiting standards to be introduced by IoR

Boyce Recruitment

The Institute of Recruiters (IoR) is to mirror the work of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) by launching its own set of world-class recruitment standards.

The IoR will aim its standards at companies throughout the world. Furthermore, it will offer support and training on how to implement these standards.

Recruiter.co.uk confirmed: “The IoR is working with a number of companies to put together a training, support and education offering to the highest UK standards.”

In order to provide ease of access to this education pack, the IoR will utilise “video, tutorials, one-to-one and group webinars”, the recruitment website also revealed. If the initial efforts prove to be a success, the IoR will create an even more “powerful delivery platform”.

The IoR’s latest move will hopefully make it even easier for those filling jobs in London and other areas throughout the world to practice recruitment to the highest-possible standard. This should highly benefit candidates, hiring companies and the recruitment industry as a whole.

It may come as no surprise to those in the know that the IoR has made such a bold move, particularly as its motto – cited by Theior.org.uk – is: “Transforming Recruitment & HR Globally.” It vows to “benchmark recruiter skills to government standards” as well.
