A really awesome opportunity has arisen, at a leading global media localisation company, for an experienced Audio & Voice Over Project Manager/Producer to join as their new Head of V.O.

The Voice-Over (VO) department is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of all localisation services to the corporate and V.O. clients.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident and resourceful person, with an analytical mind and solid leadership skills, to focus on improving efficiency and supporting the team and business's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the department. This will include supporting and mentoring the V.O. team, make sure adequate training is provided to enable the team to fulfil their roles, responsibilities, and objectives, and ensure departmental targets and goals are exceeded.
Ensure that all projects follow a systematic management process, e.g. briefing document, project management plan, project wrap-up, evaluation and debrief, and are delivered on time and on budget, and recorded in the PM/CRM system.
Manage client and vendor relationships professionally and effectively, and ensure prompt and timely response to all queries.
Develop and implement the strategy for the VO department in line with the wider business objectives and needs.
Represent the VO department at production and sales meetings and ensure team compliance with ISO standards.
Monitor team utilisation closely, identify gaps in resources and propose a business plan to enable the department to support the business's needs.
Update Vendor Manager on supplier rates, new talent requirements, upcoming projects, vendor quality issues and improvement areas, etc.
Work closely with the marketing team on the VO library and any other systems that improve client experience.
Work closely with Sales Dept. and support on new sales enquiries, quotes and RFPs as needed.
Lead on the negotiation of rates, complex deals and other financial aspects with suppliers and clients.

Key Requirements:
Ideally 5+ years of experience within the media and localisation industry.
Technical production knowledge.
The ability to develop and improve workflows and implement new ways of working.
Excellent strategic, planning and organisational skills.
A solution-focused attitude and be highly motivated.
Strong management and leadership skills, and an excellent communicator.
Effective delegation skills.
The ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.
Experience in managing and developing lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
Computer literate (specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
