We have an exciting role for someone with a solid background within TV Channel Distribution. This could also suit someone in Sales or Acquisitions, who has excellent Account Management, Business Development experience and is looking for their next challenge.

Based in Central London - Permanent

Our client, a hugely successful UK TV Platform which delivers TV Services, Radio, On Demand Channels and Programmes to UK Viewers. Currently hosts over 200 content services which include a huge portfolio of high profile channels.
Successful candidate will thrive within a smaller company environment, and work well within a small team. You must have previous experience within either TV Channel Distribution, Content Sales or TV Acquisitions and be able to demonstrate exceptional client servicing and account management skills.

The Role

The Content Partnership Manager will proactively develop and manage relationships with broadcast channel and app partners to help bring the best available content to their customers. The post holder will be a major contributor towards improving the content offering on the platform and increasing revenue streams.

Main responsibilities

· Engage with new and current content partners to launch and manage channels and services on the platform.

· Meet with channel partners regularly to understand their business objectives; create fresh ideas and plans for the company and its partners to grow.

· Take ownership of channel accounts and manage on a day-to-day basis operational changes and any accompanying administrative tasks.

· Work on the end to end launch process from looking for new partners, negotiating, commercial terms to working with internal teams in Business Operations, Marketing, legal and finance.

· The role involves researching potential new channels and services, evaluating products and providing a business case listing the benefits the services could add to the platform.

· The post holder will participate in the growth of the sales pipeline aligned with both Content and wider company strategy.

· Devise account management plans to generate revenue balanced with maintaining a strong content proposition.

· Contribute towards the evolution of their content strategy and content listings.

· Provide first class customer service to clients. Anticipate and handle account queries and other issues as they arise and be actively responsive, dealing with queries with efficiency and proficiency.

· As a small team the post holder may be presented with other ad hoc projects or tasks and opportunities to develop their skills.

Professional Expertise

• The candidate may be working in Broadcasting in a commercial business development/distribution or sales role.
• Has proven negotiating and influencing skills and evidence of deal making.
• Experience working on contractual agreements.
• Sound knowledge of account management, financial spreadsheets and sales pipelines.
• Knowledge of BARB and /or advertising sales would be an advantage
• Self sufficient with both admin and organizational tasks.
• The role could suit either a sales or acquisitions professional looking for an interesting next step on the career ladder.
