Our client, a Major Broadcaster based in West London, is looking for an Edit Co-ordinator on a temp basis - to start asap until October 2018 -

Daily Rate plus holiday pay

As a member of the Post Production Services team, the role of Edit Coordinator is a key role supporting the client's editing facilities. This role acts as a main point of contact between Media Management, Editors and Edit Supervisor, Programme Operations and RPS Teams, as well as Ingest and Library Leads.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create browses of completed edits for producer approval via Mediaflex.
• Send all approved programmes to Ingest and QC by raising Mediaflex tasks.
• Manually type and transfer data from edit reports to Mediaflex including timecodes, audio configurations and aspect ratios.
• Support Edit Assistants and manually restore assets for edit when required to ensure material is available for edit.
• Trouble shoot problems related to Mediaflex and liaise with engineers.
• Track workflow in ScheduALL by updating job status within booking.

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to identify and prioritize problems
• Good decision making skills
• An interest and awareness of digital files/technology is a plus.
• An operational knowledge of post-production is a plus.
