Localisation Producer - Borehamwood

A busy boutique Production and Post Company based near Borehamwood are looking for a Producer.

Working with the in-house team, you will need to be able to manage projects from brief to completion, cope well under the pressure with tight deadlines.

This role will be responsible for a number of exciting commercials and corporate accounts, and will give you an opportunity to use your skills across the breadth of production, versioning and taking projects from brief all the way to final delivery. As well as being a key element to the production process, you will also be managing the localisation of a wide variety of content for a diverse selection of territories worldwide.

The Role:

· Managing & scheduling Post-Production: overseeing edits, graphics and sound work, including directing voice-over for UK and global markets

· Coordinating reversioning and localising of variety of commercials and trailers

· Developing and deepening relationships through client liaison and account management

· Preparing & managing timelines and production budgets

· Assisting in Pre-Production of projects, including researching and booking all requisite locations, kit, crew etc

· Attending shoots, Researching & booking talent

· Asset management

· Overseeing all aspects of the workflow and ensuring delivery to tight deadlines

· Ad clearance (Clearcast/BBFC/CAA etc) & delivery (Adstream/IMD) both domestic and international

· Always looking to encourage and explore new avenues of potential work


· At least 3 years' experience in production and post- production with in depth experience working with voice over artists and overseeing the localisation process.

· An excellent understanding of production and post-production software's and terminologies

· On-set experience

· Good knowledge of file-based workflows and formats

· Experience of FTP and online file delivery systems

· Attention to detail with a creative and commercial flair

· Good understanding of short form and commercial filmmaking

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills alongside excellent negotiation and client liaison skills

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

· Knowledge of Clearcast guidelines and Copy Central system

· First class organisation and time management skills as you will be managing more than one project at one time, with a proactive approach to work and problem solving

· Team skills with self-motivation

· Ability to prioritise and juggle work load and a cool head under pressure

· An excitement at meeting creative challenges is vital!
