The PR Recruitment desk is booming; we have taken on lots of interesting roles, agency side roles are still taking centre stage with no signs of slowing down. It is buoyant across all sectors including financial and corporate PR, but the technology sector is currently the busiest.
We are recruiting across all levels, but there is definitely a shortage of candidates at middle management level from SAE-SAM, maybe as a result of people being reluctant to move given the current climate. We are also finding that small to midsize businesses are heavily recruiting, be it for straightforward replacement roles or looking to expand while the market is flourishing.
Clients are now looking for people with more niche experience; candidates who have worked in marketing tech, ad tech, retail tech and virtual reality are becoming more desirable. It is still very much a candidate led market, so the perfect opportunity for someone looking for progression, or a change of environment to be looking for their next role.
