Don’t forget the work experience

The news is awash with stories of happiness and worry which have accompanied this morning’s release of a level results.

Many children who have gained their place at university are content as they are able to start before the fees are raised in 2012.

It is interesting to hear of many large reputable corporates who are targeting young individuals who have not achieved the results they need to start university and who have now been offered the chance to train as apprentices and be sponsored at a later date for the degree they will want to do. Not sure who is better off as work experience is always a fantastic help when applying for work post university.
