With tinsel on our desks and Mince Pies in our mouths, Boyce Recruitment have started to get into the Christmas spirit, and what a better way to do so than attending The Research Club’s Christmas Party. Our Market Research division headed over to Movida last night for some wine, canapes and networking. The Research Club began out of a desire for people to connect and with over 6000 international members it is a great way to network, develop business opportunities and ripen your knowledge of the industry.
These events really show the multi-cultural extent of the Market Research industry, and after chatting to a girl from Sweden, a girl from New Zealand and a man from Italy, it is also a fantastic way to network globally. With over 12% of Boyce Recruitments Market Research roles in 2012 specifically requesting language skills, this has been a fantastic year for those overseas to join the industry based in London. Attending the Christmas party is a nice way for individuals new to the London market to meet like-minded people.
People were in the Christmas spirit, drinks were flowing (there could have been a bit more food!) and it was a great night to meet our clients and candidates, some old and some new. Bob Qureshi and the team do a great job at entertaining and these events are now hosted all over the world. If you have not already done so, head along to the next Research Club event and share ideas, create new possible partnerships and of course meet the Boyce team whilst you are there.
