Boris Johnson has hailed London as a brilliant place to run a business, after a number of top employers agreed deals to remain in the capital last weekend.
Property giant Land Securities is just one of the major firms who will continue trading and creating new jobs in London.
Bruinfinancial.com added that insurance giant Aon has also announced that it will be moving its HQ from Chicago to London. Such announcements could be great news to anyone looking for market research or admin jobs in London.
After learning of the news, Mayor of London Boris Johnson was keen to praise the increasing business confidence in London.
In an interview with Fresh Business Thinking, he was also quick to describe the importance that the major events taking place in the capital this year could have on creating jobs.
He said: “Despite difficult economic times, London is attracting investment from across the world and remains formidable force in an ever competitive global marketplace. It is clear business confidence in our city and its economy is strong all levels.
“This summer, when we welcome to the world for the 2012 Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, I believe we have the perfect opportunity to cement our reputation at home and abroad as the number one place to do business.”
