Proactive and confident French speaker with demonstrable sales experience and an interest in the advertising industry are encouraged to apply for this in-house position within a publications team.
The role of Advertising & Sales Coordinator will involve proactive business development activity and networking within the existing client-base, marketing and selling advertising space and publications to achieve targets.
This position will include a far broader range of activity than advertising sales and will carry responsibility for budgets and project coordination of publications to print, including negotiation of terms with suppliers.
Reporting into the Managing Director, activities will include:
• Marketing all the company’s publications
• Selling advertising space in publications and online
• Retaining current advertisers and prospecting new clients
• Competitor analysis to ensure rates are competitive
• Reaching financial targets
• Attending in-house networking events
• Liaising with the financial department for invoicing
Candidates must be able to demonstrate
• English to mother-tongue standard
• Sales experience ideally within media / advertising
• Strong communication skills and confidence in building long-term relationships with clients
