Client Service Generalist - £27,000 – Capital Markets
This role is working for one of the worlds most respected, and widely utilized sources for credit rating, quantitative risk products, research, and risk analysis. The role is working within the Analytics division of this company, which targets an audience of financial market participants including: Credit Rating, Valuation Models, Economic Models, Fixed Income Research, and Economic Data. The function of the role provides advice to a client bases consisting of Banks, Insurance Companies, Institutional Investor and firms who actively manage credit risk.
The role is based in the client service team who provide support for routine inquiries to clients on firm-wide products. The ideal candidate will have a good overall knowledge of Capital Markets, and will be educated to degree level ideally within Finance or Economics. Would suit a candidate who is looking for an entry level role into Finance who comes from a background in customer support within Finance or a graduate with sound knowledge of Capital Markets.
Duties will include and not be limited to:
Provide customer service at all times for clients, this could be either via telephone or e-mail. Communicate with clients and all internal staff in a courteous, professional manner.
To provide feedback to the Sales and Training groups regarding the clients needs and opportunities.
Log all content of client correspondence onto their internal systems.
Resolve basic client issues and complete specific clients requests eg: password assistance, navigation, transferring to appropriate analyst.
Inform relationship managers of significant client requests and identify potential sales leads for the departments.
Complete outbound calling initiatives including promotion of the company events and calls to new users of the Analytics services.
