Marketing department of international Financial Services group is looking for a professional Mac Operator to assist the Senior Marketing Executive with the production of travel policy literature and related documentation and support two designers with other Marketing design projects.
 
Working to international brand guidelines, you will use templates to produce high quality marketing collateral, reports and presentations that comply with company legislation.

This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Mac Operator looking for a dynamic, varied role, or DTP specialist with experience of using a Mac within the financial services or travel industry.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
 
- Producing attractive and professional policy documentation including booklets, forms and T&Cs
- Supporting the preparation of a range of sales and marketing materials, from tender responses to sales literature
- Maintaining an artwork library and negotiating best prices, carrying out web-based research
- Working with IT and Marketing Creative team to enhance Intranet and website communications
- Liaise with external print suppliers and specialist agencies
- Research new design and presentation concepts, to generate innovative ideas for the Marketing team
- Assist the Marketing team and Head of Marketing on ad hoc projects


Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following background:

- Understanding of all Apple Mac applications, including Quark Express, In-design, Illustrator, Photoshop and MS packages, ideally with relevant design qualification
- Ideally experience of the Travel Insurance industry or financial services sector
- Background working as a DTP / Mac Operator within corporate environment, or related experience
- Experience in dealing with external agencies and specialists e.g. printers and web design consultants, working on multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills and well-organised
