Boyce Recruitment is committed to a strong Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.

But what does that really mean?

This means that we go out of our way to give something back. We believe in valuing our environment – both social and physical. We are constantly striving towards a better way of doing business, starting with the basics that we are already committed to – ranging from recycling all our paper to using 80% bio-degradable pens in our offices.

And what about climate change?

The growing threat of climate change makes it imperative for all of us to turn our words into action on environmental issues. At Boyce, we are dedicated to an awareness of the environment and we strive to make our business more environmentally friendly wherever we can. We revisit our policy regularly and are always open to new ideas that could improve our existing practices.

How does Boyce help in the community?

We are committed to giving something back to our community – both locally and in the wider world. Boyce currently sponsors a children’s football team based in North London – the Finchley Flyers Athletic Football Club. This team gives young people the opportunity to participate in a team sport, developing their skills of working with others and giving them an outlet to express themselves outside of the conventional framework of education – and of course, it helps them hone their football skills! Boyce also regularly undertakes volunteering days out for the whole company – making sure that everyone in our team is involved in giving something back. These volunteering days help the Boyce organisation to be aware of our Social Responsibility commitments, and to build a strong sense of team. Of course, they also provide essential practical help and support to some of London’s neediest charities. We all enjoy feeling that we are helping to improve our community and environment, and the involvement of all employees is a key Boyce commitment.

Which charities does Boyce Recruitment support?

We have a Charity of the Year pledge, where we support a new charity each year in order to spread our help across a wide range of causes over the long term. Previous donations have been to NSPCC, Tsunami Aid and Childline.

In December 2007 we pledged to make our donation to Shelter.

Shelter is a registered Charity dedicated to helping over 170,000 people a year fight for their rights, get back on their feet, and find and keep a home. They provide practical help to families and individuals facing homelessness or a housing problem.
