Giving Something Back
We are committed to giving something back to our community – both locally and in the wider world.
Boyce also regularly undertakes volunteering days out for the whole company – making sure that everyone in our team is involved in giving something back. These volunteering days help the Boyce organisation to be aware of our Social Responsibility commitments, and to build a strong sense of team. Of course, they also provide essential practical help and support to some of London's neediest charities. We all enjoy feeling that we are helping to improve our community and environment, and the involvement of all employees is a key Boyce commitment.
Which charities does Boyce Recruitment support?
We have a Charity of the Year pledge, where we support a new charity each year in order to spread our help across a wide range of causes over the long term. Previous donations have been to NSPCC, Tsunami Aid, Shelter and Childline.
In 2012 our team were active in supporting a range of charities including Age Uk, Chickenshed Theatre company and Kidsout.
Age UK assist carers and volunteers to provide people in later life with care related needs and information/ aid and support and are always looking for volunteers to help out at weekly social events for the elderly.
Chickenshed Theatre company is an inclusive theatre, whose aim is to bring people together of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to produce outstanding theatre that inspires, challenges, entertains and educates both audiences and participants alike.
KidsOut is the only charity in the UK dedicated to bringing fun and happiness into the lives of disadvantaged children. They help thousands of children every year across the country who may have escaped domestic violence or come from difficult backgrounds; they may have been excluded from school, have a life-limiting disability or be socially or rurally isolated.
